Armed plain-clothed security officers raided a house church in Iran and arrested eight people, according to Mohabat News.
The report says the 7 August arrests and search of the premises in Karaj, 50km west of Tehran, were made without the production of a court order. A personal computer, Bibles and other Christian literature were seized and taken away.
Mohabat News reports that three of the detainees have been temporarily and conditionally released by posting appropriate bail.
Iran is listed as the seventh worst country to be a Christian by Open Doors’ annual World Watch List, which says that “at least 75 Christians were arrested” in connection with their faith in 2014.
